The coach and horses Clapham
I'm seeing some weirdness with the way in which Google picks TLDs to show in the UK SERPs. Here's an example - The Coach and Horses Clapham Why is the French result showing here?

Qype: Gee's Restaurant in Oxford
Oxford - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - Gourmet - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - International
I had one of the best burgers i think i've ever had at Gee's. Served on a wooden board, the burger was pink, tender, massive and delicious. We were a big group (12 in total i think) and the staff were quick, friendly and we were all served within 20 minutes.
The setting is gorgeous and perfect for a summers day in Oxford. The conservatory area seats about 40 in total and is by far the best place to sit.
Highly recommended. I'll be back!

Qype: Chadwick's Organic Butchers in London
London - Shopping - Food & Drink - Butchers
Now this is an awesome butcher.
I just got back from Chadwick's in Balham and my housemates are in the kitchen busily preparing the beautiful joint of beef we bought this morning. The folks Chadwick's were delightful and took the time to help us with selecting the right cut of meat (the banter was good too). They also have a deli section here - chorizo, olive, local cheeses, chutneys and much, much more.
A journey well worth making and one of the few butchers in SW London open for most of Sunday. An easy 5 stars.

Qype: Secondo in London
London
If Secondo stays open for longer than 6 months i will eat my hat. Is it a cafe? Is it a vintage clothes shop? Are they selling scooters? I'm just not sure..... What i do know is that Secondo is almost always empty and must be feeling the pain from the economic downturn.
I wish them all the best, but if they want to make money they're going to have to pick one of the above and nail it. My advice - Go for the coffee shop option. Cafe Nile across the road seem to be doing pretty well and this part of the high street is crying out for nice cafes and coffee shops. I guess we'll have to wait and see :)

Qype: Bugsy's Bar in Paris
Paris - Eating & Drinking - Pubs & Bars - Pubs
A great place for a pint and a quick bite to eat by the Champs Elysees. I know what you're thinking - "why the hell were you drinking a pint of Kilkenny and scoffing a burger when you're in an area known for its fine bistros and restaurants?" Well, sometimes you just need a beer and a burger, so if that's what you're craving, this is the place.
The staff in here speak great English (in fact, they are English and American!) and they're really friendly too. I'll be back.

Qype: The Purple Turtle in Oxford
Oxford - Eating & Drinking - Pubs & Bars - Bars - Arts & Entertainment - Social Clubs
I love the Purple Turtle and i spent many a night here when i was a student. Be warned, if you haven't got a student card you won't be let in on the door (you'll need to get someone with an NUS card to put your name on the guest list before you arrive.
Cheap beer, friendly people and awesome MAME table video games so you can sit back, relax and play space invader while you sip on your pint. Perfect!

Qype: Hôtel Astor Saint-Honoré in Paris
Paris - Hotels & Holidays - Hotels
Somebody ought to have a word with the cleaning staff at the Hôtel Astor Saint-Honoré in Paris. I can't tell you how dusty the rooms and the corridors are here. I spent most of last night coughing and spluttering. It really was that bad.
Aside from the dust problem, the Astor Saint-Honore is actually a pretty decent hotel. Excellent location in the 8'eme and spitting distance from the Champs Elysees. The staff are friendly and the rooms are a decent size for Paris. I'm yet to try the restaurant, but alot of my fellow guests were saying nice things about it yesterday so i'll assume its good.
A good hotel in a great location, but who wants to sleep in a cloud of dust?

Qype: Rebato's in London
London - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - Spanish - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - Tapas
Remember that MI6 Agent who got drunk and left his briefcase full of secrets in the Spanish restaurant in South London? This is the place.
Espionage aside, Rebato's is a cracking little Spanish restaurant in the heart of Stockwell. The staff are wonderfully friendly (as well as efficient) and i'm always warmly welcomed whenever i come here.
Recommended dishes - try the Huevos Flamenco (Chorizo, Ham, Tomato and Pimento), the Calamares a la Romano (Squid) or the Gambas al'ajillo (prawns sauted with garlic and chilli). All are excellent.
I'll be back!

Qype: Philglas & Swiggot in London
London - Shopping - Food & Drink - Wine, Beer & Spirits - Shopping - Food & Drink - Wine, Beer & Spirits - Wine Merchants
What a name! Even though Philglas and Swiggot sounds like a venereal disease, it's a very nice little wine shop on Northcote road. The shop is neatly carved up into regions and you'll find yourself spoiled for choice if you're into red's from SW France or Italian whites. Disappointing volumes of Californian and South African wine though, but what they had was good. This definitely isn't the kind of stuff you'll find in Sainsbury's and i love that. Expect to pay a premium for these global delights though, from eyeballing the shelves i'd say the average bottle in here is about £15. Customer service is laid back (but good) and you can tell these are the kind of folks who love their wine and are willing to talk about it until the cows come home!
I'll be back and i'll be bringing my credit card :)

Qype: La Fromagerie in London
London - Eating & Drinking - Cafes & Coffee Shops - Cafes
Love this place. I particularly like shopaholic's quote "If mice died and went to heaven, this is probably what the place would look like..."
I wish they had a Fromagerie in Clapham, but unfortunately not. This is a cheese paradise and i'd highly recommend it to tourists and locals alike. Don't worry if you're not a cheese lover, they have plenty of other great stuff too.
Tip - Try the Chorizo soup. It's delicious!

Qype: Pierre Victoire in Oxford
Oxford - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - French
I actually really like Pierre Victoire (which is unusual for me as i'm usually not a fan of chains). This particular branch is very well placed. Little Clarendon Street is one of my favourite little streets in Oxford and there is no shortage of good places to eat and drink in this neck of the woods.
Best Mains - Rib Eye Steak or The Coq au Vin
Best Desserts - Creme Caramel or the cheese board
You can eat well here on the cheap and they also have student discounts (i think it's 15%) for the bootstrappers of Oxford and Brookes uni!

Qype: Bree Louise in London
London - Eating & Drinking - Pubs & Bars - Pubs
What a great pub and what fantastic pies! The Bree Louise is moments from Euston Station and is probably the finest pub in NW1. I don't often drink in this part of town (purely because i didn't think it had any decent pubs!) but i was delighted to find this place.
Quick tip - CAMRA members get a discount on bitter and pies (all food for that matter) so make sure you bring your membership card with you!
2nd Quick tip - The locals know about this place so it's gets very busy between 6-8pm during the week! Get there early or later on if you want to sit down!

Qype: London Marriott County Hall in London
London - Hotels & Holidays - Hotels - 5 Star Hotels
A very nice hotel with great views of the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye from most of the bedrooms and function rooms. We came for tea between Christmas and new year and were very well looked after. It's pricey though. A pot of tea will set you back £5 and, for the frugal Qypers out there, the cheapest drink on the menu is Ginger Beer (£1.50).
Room rates depend largely on the time of year, but you can expect to pay £200 per night + here for a standard room with a view. If you can't afford stay, this is a good place to stop for tea (tourists and locals).

Qype: LebanEats in London
London - Eating & Drinking - Fastfood & Takeaway - Falafel - Eating & Drinking - Fastfood & Takeaway - Soup
LebanEats is a new takeaway spot on Regent street and, like Urbanite, i wasn't particularly taken with the choice of dishes on the menu. Anyway, i opted for the chicken shawarma which unfortunately wasn't freshly prepared, but it still tasted good and at £4 was pretty cheap. If you're looking for serious lebanese food i'd recommend Yalla Yalla in Soho or Maroush just down the road, but if you want a quick snack and your around Oxford Circus, this isn't a bad shout.

Qype: Staplehurst Golfing Park in Tonbridge
Tonbridge - Sport - Golf
Staplehurst Golf Park is a bit of a hidden gem. The driving range is immaculate and good value too (£5 for 100 balls). The range is stocked with swingcams, motorised tees and about 20 berths (a mix of grass and astro). There's an old beat up VW car to aim at about 150 yards out. My brother hit it first time!
Staff are friendly and the 9 hole pitch and putt looks lush and well kept (but not particularly challenging).
I'll be back!
