Chiddingly - Eating & Drinking - Pubs & Bars - Pubs
Now this is quite a country pub. Perched on the corner of a winding country lane, opposite an idyllic pub - bikers, families, ramblers and more come from far afield to visit the Six Bells in Chiddingly. The drive from Horam to Chiddingly is BEAUTIFUL. I'd highly recommend it.
The pub itself is cosy with a very nice beer garden at the back and picnic tables at the front of the pub. Sunday must be "biker day" as there must have been 50 motorcycles parked out front (all there for the live jazz and blues perhaps).
The food looked delicious (but we didn't eat) and lots of regional ales on tap. My only gripe is that they use really cheap soft drinks (my coke was pretty nasty). If they fix this, The 6 Bells is a 5 star place.
